No, I am not trying to answer all forex questions, the title is just a play on the common phrase “Frequently Asked Question” which is usually abreviated as “FAQ“. “Forex Answers and Questions” can have the same abreviation, right?

I got many questions (and comments) directly in my inbox. I believe some of them were worth knowing by other readers. So, from now on I’m going to resume short of questions and post it publicly on this blog. Not only to let you know them but also to avoid answering similar questions many times. You may, however, ask me not to publish your question(s).

Though I welcome any questions and comments, you should understand that I probably can’t answer all of your questions. Also, there are always a time when I really cannot give you prompt response. I read each of your email, though.

Q: Did you make a lot of money by forex ? Is it also possible for me ?
A: Well, I should answer this question wisely. How much is “a lot” on your perception? If I tell you that I make 40 usd a month, will you say that as “a lot”? Most people will spontaneously say “No, that’s too small”, without firstly asking “how much money do you put in?”.

5-10% a month Return on Investment (ROI) is a lot for me. What I consider as “investment” is not only the sum of money I put in my trading account. Other variable I consider as my investment are: time I spend to trade, psychological and physical stress I get while trading and hardware cost (computer, electricity, internet connection).

Is it also possible for you? You are the only person who can answer this question. I suggest you read this forex article trading for a living

Q: Is your forex signal everyday or there are some days it does not come?
A: Honestly, I indeed would like to provide signals daily. However, as you can see, there were some days that I didn’t post any signal. That could be caused by technical/analytical reasons or in a very rare ocassion by my bad mood/feel. Sorry for the latter reason.

Q: Just wanted to ask if you will be sharing GBP/JPY signals?
A: I dont have any signals for gbp/jpy. Never think to provide them either.

Q: Hi, i have downloaded the MTP EA (a metatrader expert advisors (EA) for managing your take profit and stop loss –editor), which is very good and i thank you verymuch
for making this available for free. My question is, is it possible to set a max
loss of 25, but once +15 is reached move the sl to - 10, then use a trailing
stop of 25. ?
A: I should tell you first that I obtained this EA elsewhere for free, so I have no reason to not make it available for free. This Mt4 EA should be able to handle the setting you want. Below are what you should do:

• set “First TP Target” to any amount you wish
• set “Move Stops” to “true”
• set “First Stop Target” to “15″
• Set “First Stop” to “-10″
• set “second Stop Target” to “0″
• Set “second Stop” to “0″
• set “third Stop Target” to “0″
• Set “third Stop” to “0″
• Set “trail stop by” to “25″
• set “Use Max Loss” to “true”
• Set “Max Loss” to “25″
